WJ IV for School Psychologists

This session will focus on the role of the WJ IV in comprehensive special education and psychological assessment. Topics will include interpretation of the W Score and Relative Proficiency Index and use of the WJ IV Interpretation and Instructional Interventions Program (WIIIP) to connect assessment results with intervention recommendations. Overviews of the WJ IV Cognitive, Achievement, and Oral Language batteries will be included, as well as an introduction to the WJ IV Tests of Early Cognitive and Academic Development.
Learning objectives:
- Participants will learn the application of the w score and Relative Proficiency Index when utilizing the WJ IV
- Participants will learn to utilize the Core-Selective Evaluation Process for the WJ IV Cognitive
- Participants will learn the organization and use of the WJ IV Tests of Oral Language
School psychologists will receive 3 NASP-approved credits
